Mariels classes are exactly as she as a person: competent, organised and efficient as well as good-humored, easy-going and amiable at the same time. I can definitely recommend them!

Mariel is an excellent teacher. She’s well prepared and chooses very interesting and extraordinary articles. And there’s always time to speak about things the participants like to share with group.

This course is fun and entertaining and helps to learn a lot about different topics and by that enlargen and activate your vocabulary. Besides that the good mixture in the group is very pleasant.

I found it very exciting to get to know other people while we learnt to improve our English together. It made the experience very real.

Mariel is a very knowledgeable instructor and facilitator. She knows how to simulate a discussion in case a topic has come to a dead end, by asking the right questions and sharing her personal point of view. Furthermore, she finds the right balance when correcting our mistakes. She provides timely feedback, but does not hamper the flow of the discussion.

I like the topics she chooses to get us started in the beginning. It is very beneficial that Mariel is not insisting to stay on her topic but let the discussion go the way we want. But she knows how to keep us on track and ensuresthat everybody gets a fair share of talking time.
